Discover a dreamy place on this day trip to Catalina Island from Santo Domingo, where you'll head to a beautiful site in the Dominican Caribbean and practice snorkeling in crystal-clear waters.
We'll pick you up at the designated time at the Pizzarelli Zona Colonial in the Parque Colón, and from this central location of the Ciudad Colonial in Santo Domingo, we'll head to the southeast of the Dominican Republic.
After approximately 1.5 hours, we'll reach the La Romana port. Once there, we'll board a catamaran with entertainment on board. Are you ready to sail the warm waters of the Dominican Caribbean? Along the ride, you can enjoy different beverages, including rum, beer, soft drinks, juices, and water.
We'll begin the catamaran ride by navigating to a coral reef, where we'll stop to practice snorkeling. We'll provide you with the masks, tubes, and fins so you can admire the colorful tropical fish. You'll also have the chance to see the area's precious coral formations up close.
Then, we'll continue sailing toward Catalina Island, a paradisiac protected site which is part of the Cotubanamá National Park. After docking on its coasts, you'll have free time to take a dip, sunbathe, and stroll along its captivating beach.
Around midday, we'll serve you a delicious buffet-style lunch on the beach, including rice, eggplants in sauce, chicken, lamb chops, salad, pasta, and fruit. After eating, you can rest on the beach and admire the Caribbean Sea.
Finally, we'll regroup to begin our journey back to La Romana. From here, we'll drive toward the meeting point in Santo Domingo, where we'll conclude this 10-hour day trip.
