Whale Watching in Miches
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Miches tourist pier and go to a small market to have some breakfast. We'll have coffee, tea, juice, sandwiches and fruit to start the morning off right.
Then, we'll board a boat for a cruise during which we'll try to spot the families of humpback whales that inhabit the waters of Samana Bay and other areas in the north of the Dominican Republic.
For 1 hour to 1.5 hours, depending on sea conditions, we'll sail the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, admiring the whales swimming around the area. Have your camera ready!
Did you know that the songs of humpback whales can be heard up to 30 kilometers away? During the cruise, you'll learn all about how these aquatic animals breathe, what their diet consists of, and many other curiosities.
We'll finish the activity 3.5 hours later, disembarking at the departure pier.
