At the time indicated, we'll meet at base camp located 46 km (28 miles) from Höfn, to start an interesting offroad tour of Iceland's black sand beaches. Let's explore this area's natural beauty!
After a brief introduction, we'll board a 4x4 and head to the black sand beaches in Suðurfjörur. Along the way, we'll admire the ruins of the first local airport and enjoy the beauty of the Hvanneyjarviti lighthouse. It's the perfect spot for a photo!
The 4x4 tour will continue to Höfn port, where we'll be watched by seals as we admire the impressive views of the surrounding mountains. Then, we'll explore the area's black sand beaches, where you'll discover a unique landscape in Iceland.
Before ending our adventure, we'll stop at a glacial lagoon near Fláajökull or Heinabergsjökull, home to a herd of reindeer. It'll be an unforgettable experience!
We'll return to base camp after a 3-hour long tour.
