At the indicated time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Punta Cana and set off for the capital of the Dominican Republic.
Our first stop will be the stunning Los Tres Ojos National Park, where we'll visit these famous freshwater caves, divided into crystal-clear lagoons. After this immersion in Dominican nature, we'll set off on a scenic tour of Santo Domingo, where we'll see the Columbus Lighthouse and the Presidential Palace.
The next stop will be at the Cine Colonial 4D for an immersive experience with a documentary about the pirate Francis Drake.
We'll continue with a guided tour of the Colonial City, starting with the Cathedral of Santo Domingo. This church, dedicated to Santa María de la Encarnación, is known as the First Cathedral of the Americas. After learning about its history, we'll head to the National Pantheon to visit this mausoleum where illustrious Dominican figures are laid to rest.
On our walking tour of the historic centre, we’ll discover highlights such as Plaza de España, Fortaleza Ozama, the House of Hernán Cortés, the Museo de las Casas Reales and Callejón de los Curas.
Next, we’ll head to the renowned Atarazana restaurant to refuel with a delicious lunch. This menu features local specialities in a stunning setting. After lunch, we'll visit the iconic Alcázar de Diego Colón.
Finally, you’ll have an hour free to shop in the colonial district, and from there we’ll head back to our starting points.
We’re scheduled to arrive back at your hotel 10.5 hours after collection.
