On this horseback ride along Playa Blanca, we'll gallop along one of the biggest resorts in Punta Cana. The best part? We'll even get into the water with the horses!
After picking you up from your hotel at the designated time, we'll head towards the Puntacana Resort & Club, one of the biggest on the eastern coast of the Dominican Republic. Welcome to paradise!
Once we arrive at these facilities, we'll have a brief introduction and make our way to the stable to say hello to the horses. Next, we'll venture into the tropical forest that surrounds the resort. Here, we'll be greeted by dense vegetation as we familiarise ourselves with the animals.
The tour will continue down trails with views of the contrasting white sand and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. We'll reach the Horse Lounge, a resting area close to mangroves. We'll hop down from the horses to enjoy some snacks and water.
We'll continue horseback riding and make our way to Playa Blanca, where we'll get ready to experience a magical moment during the activity: the horses wading into the water. Once we're in the water, we'll sense its movements growing smoother. They're expert swimmers! Our next destination will be a polo field and the resort's stables.
Here, we'll talk about this sport and the horses' lifestyle. We'll discuss the care these elegant animals receive and how their diet and training influence their performance. You'll also have the chance to feed the horses at the end of the route.
Lastly, we'll return to your hotel, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 3.5 hours.
