On this day trip to Dominicania, explore an immersive experience center recreating a Taíno cave, a baseball field, and other iconic Dominican settings. You'll have a great time!
We'll pick you up from your hotel and take a 45-minute drive to Dominicania, an immersive experience center located in the Downtown area of Punta Cana.
Upon arrival at the park, we'll first take a guided tour of a recreated Taíno cave, where we'll learn about the customs of one of the most important pre-Hispanic cultures in the Caribbean. Next, we'll watch a short film in a 4D cinema about the history and roots of the Dominican Republic.
After the film, you can explore the rest of the park at your own pace. At the different themed stations, you'll see potters shaping clay live, master cigar makers rolling cigars by hand, and you'll have the opportunity to polish your own Larimar stone, learning why this gemstone is unique to the island of Hispaniola.
During your visit around the park, you will also enjoy different tastings of Dominican products: premium rum at the Dominican Rum Experience, organic chocolate at Kah Kow, freshly roasted coffee, local beer at a traditional colmado, and the traditional casabe.
In addition, you can have fun on the baseball and golf simulators, which recreate the country's most famous courses. To round off the experience, you'll enjoy a colorful live folklore show with music, diablos cojuelos, and dancers representing all the energy and color of the Dominican carnival.
Finally, we'll meet at the park entrance and return to your hotel, arriving approximately 4 hours after pickup.
