On this day trip to the Damajagua Waterfalls, you’ll soar on zip lines and descend waterfalls deep in the Dominican jungle. A truly iconic Caribbean setting!
At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel or cruise port and take a 30-minute drive to the Damajagua Waterfalls. Did you know they’re the most famous waterfalls in this part of the Caribbean?
Upon arrival, we’ll begin an approximately 40-minute hike along tropical forest trails. We’ll be deep in the Dominican Republic, surrounded by lush vegetation and the constant sounds of nature.
Before reaching the waterfalls, the adventure will step up a notch. We’ll gear up to enjoy a circuit of 5 zip lines, where you’ll fly over the jungle canopy and the Damajagua canyon. Each section offers different heights and lengths, combining pure adrenaline with spectacular views of the mountains and karst landscape.
After this rush, we’ll start descending through 7 of the most beautiful waterfalls in Puerto Plata. You’ll also have time for a refreshing swim in the Damajagua falls. While enjoying the dip, you’ll be able to watch the water cascade into the natural pools, or charcos, that make up the Damajagua natural area.
Finally, we’ll return to the starting point. From there, we’ll head back and say our goodbyes at your hotel or cruise port 5 hours after pickup.
